Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and scheduling via dental software
- Provide chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Oversee inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (AZ)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
