Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs using digital systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory of dental supplies
- Delieve patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Perform administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and charting
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume practice
- CPR certification and BLS training
