Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records using digital systems like Dentrix
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Coordinate scheduling and front desk duties as needed
Qualifications
- Michigan Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
