Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry and emergency care
- Take dental radiographs and perform chairside assistance with digital X-rays
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure OSHA compliance protocols
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care instructions
- Coordinate scheduling and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or Oregon Radiology permit
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
