Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records and chairside assistance efficiently
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory control
- Coordinate with front office for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or DANB required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental practice software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
