Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument transfer and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Perform chairside assistance for restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography (DEXIS/Sirona preferred)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends
