Responsibilities
- Perform accurate blood draws and specimen collection following OSHA and HIPAA protocols
- Process and label specimens with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Adhere to strict quality control and infection prevention standards
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ohio state health professional license (if required)
