Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist: Provide chair-side assistance during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, educate them on oral health, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform and process dental X-rays (Radiographs) accurately and efficiently.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization protocols and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock dental supplies and equipment as needed.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document patient treatments and medical histories in our digital systems.
Qualifications
- License: Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in taking digital X-rays and using dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft or OpenDental).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
- Reliability: Punctual, professional, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
