Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and safety
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for seamless patient flow
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage patient records and dental software systems accurately
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA or DANB) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
- CPR certification (must maintain current status)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
