Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform accurate dental radiography and digital imaging
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Take precise dental impressions and pour study models
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinical operations
- Deliver post-operative care instructions to patients
- Manage digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Current Texas Dental Assistant License (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sidexis)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Excellent chairside manners and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
