Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, cleanings, and restorative procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Maintain sterilization protocols and inventory of dental supplies
- Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record updates
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Tennessee dental radiography permit
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
