Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Coordinate patient scheduling and front desk duties
- Assist in restorative procedures and emergency care
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB)
- Minnesota Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
