Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during general dentistry, orthodontics, and cosmetic procedures
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Take digital dental impressions and intraoral photographs
- Assist with patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment charts
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and restorative areas
Qualifications
- Current RDA license or California Dental Assistant certification
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish fluency preferred (not required)
