Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Manage infection control and sterilization of instruments per OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and digital imaging equipment
- Take accurate dental impressions and expose/develop radiographs
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain digital patient records and inventory management
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and radiology license
- Mastery of digital imaging software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuing education in dental advancements
