Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure equipment is sterilized.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or equivalent (CDA, RDA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
