Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced equipment
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Provide chairside support during treatments and emergencies
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain sterile supply rooms
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or X-ray license required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of digital imaging systems (e.g., Dexis, Carestream)
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Valid KY state dental radiography permit
