Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Execute digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures per CDC guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for seamless clinical workflows
- Assist with patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Colorado RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix preferred)
- Excellent chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
