Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using digital software (Epic/Dentrix)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Provide chairside support for complex procedures
- Educate patients on post-treatment care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DAEFDA/CDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- X-ray certification (Washington State compliant)
- Proficiency in dental software (Epic/Dentrix)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
