Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal efficiency
- Administer patient comfort measures and post-op instructions
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Current DANB or Maryland Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Radiology certification (MD Board of Dental Examiners)
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Excellent manual dexterity and chairside manner
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume practice
