Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction, and four-handed dentistry
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance across all operatories
- Capture diagnostic X-rays and digital impressions with precision
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Maintain immaculate inventory control and ordering systems
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and treatment rooms
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software (Epic/Dentrix)
- Exceptional infection control and sterilization expertise
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
