Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Take and develop digital X-rays (TELDAs) according to safety protocols.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update patient records accurately.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant license (TELDAs) required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
