Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate scheduling and assist with front desk duties
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Valid Kansas dental radiography license
