Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and safety
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal equipment functionality
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and charting
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management for dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA preferred)
- X-ray license and current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software
- Excellent communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
