Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Dental Assistant to provide chair-side support, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of clinical hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and manage patient records accurately.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Order and stock dental supplies and maintain a clean, organized operatory.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or enrollment in a program.
- State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain) is required.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
