Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments for patient appointments.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Panoramic, Periapical, and Cephalometric).
- Instruct patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Manage inventory and sterilization of instruments according to strict safety protocols.
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant License in California.
- Certification in Radiography (RHS or RPHR) required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical dental setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
