Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral images.
- Manage patient records, update charts accurately, and ensure data privacy.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) and digital imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
