Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units including ICU, ER, and Telemetry
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions using EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific standards
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS preferred
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Flexibility for 13-week contracts with optional extensions
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
