Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling via our HIPAA-compliant remote portal
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical equipment per OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for patient procedures
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Coordinate insurance claims and billing documentation remotely
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Florida (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols for remote data handling
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology certification (RDA)
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient consultations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical standards
