Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a sterile environment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) following safety protocols.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and prepare treatment plans.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Coordinate front desk reception duties including scheduling and check-ins.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
- Current State Radiology License is required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
