Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, surgeries, and cleanings with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Provide excellent patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Perform chairside duties including mixing materials, suctioning, and drying the patient's mouth.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Arizona.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy procedures.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record.
