Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist and hygienist during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for treatment by explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays (radiographs).
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards.
- Manage patient records and assist with scheduling and insurance verification.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education.
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Dental Assistant license or certification.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
