Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including restorations and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital documentation
- Order and inventory dental supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Coordinate with front desk for patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification
- X-ray certification and radiography experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
