Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument/equipment readiness
- Document patient care using digital dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Manage inventory ordering and supply maintenance
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or Kentucky state registration
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix EMR systems
- CPR certification required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
