Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations
- Schedule appointments efficiently using EHR systems
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential files
- Coordinate with medical staff for smooth patient flow
- Handle billing inquiries and basic coding tasks
- Prepare medical correspondence and reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years medical reception experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification preferred
- Spanish bilingualism highly desirable
