Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Perform and process dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols (OSHA standards).
- Manage patient intake, medical histories, and digital charting.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Florida Dental Assistant License.
- CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting preferred (1-2 years).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy office.
- Reliable attendance and professional demeanor.
