Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital radiography, impressions, and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Deliver chairside support and four-handed dentistry
- Implement OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Train new assistants on practice protocols
- Coordinate lab cases and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of digital imaging and CAD/CAM workflows
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Experience with dental practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification current
