Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Perform sterilization and infection control procedures for dental instruments
- Manage patient scheduling, billing inquiries, and digital record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all supplies are stocked and organized
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate patient education
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all patient data and communications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
