Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety measures
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and appointment coordination
- Perform infection control procedures and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary - we provide full training!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
