Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet patients, update medical histories, and ensure comfort during examinations.
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during procedures, passing instruments and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Diagnostics: Capture and develop dental x-rays (radiographs) accurately.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization protocols for instruments and workspaces.
- Administrative: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and process insurance forms.
- Education: Provide patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide full training for the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn dental software.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and perform fine motor tasks.
- License: Current California driver’s license is preferred.
