Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) under the direction of the dentist.Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and insurance information.Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.Perform chairside assisting duties and manage inventory of dental supplies.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.Willingness to obtain or hold a valid Arizona Dental Assistant License.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.Ability to work well in a team setting.No prior experience necessary—we provide training!
