What You Will Do:
We provide all necessary training and mentorship, but a willingness to learn is essential. Your daily tasks will include:
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist: Chairside assistance during examinations, treatments, and hygiene appointments.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and cross-contamination prevention.
- Dental Radiography: Take and process digital X-rays under the supervision of the lead dentist.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient records, update charts, and schedule appointments efficiently.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are happy to train motivated candidates with no prior background in dentistry.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex dental terms to patients clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow strict protocols and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work a full-time schedule, including some Saturdays if required.
