Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications. You will interact directly with patients, answer questions, and ensure that every prescription is processed with the utmost accuracy and safety.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information and prescription details against doctor's orders.
- Manage inventory, including stocking shelves and checking expiration dates.
- Assist patients with insurance questions and copay processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
- Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid FL Driver's License preferred.
Responsibilities

- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and verifying expiration dates.
- Assist patients with insurance questions and copay processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace in accordance with state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team and medical staff regarding medication orders.
- Process returns and handle prescription transfers with precision.

- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid FL Driver's License preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and typing skills.
