Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough phone and video triage assessments to evaluate patient symptoms, medical history, and urgency of care needs.
- Clinical Decision Making: Utilize established clinical protocols to determine appropriate care plans, including recommending over-the-counter treatments, home care, or emergency services.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document all patient interactions, assessments, and care instructions in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Referral Management: Coordinate and facilitate timely referrals to primary care physicians, specialists, or urgent care facilities as required.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all communication and care plans strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and company medical guidelines.
Qualifications
- License: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care or triage experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Communication: Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Technology: Proficiency with computer systems and EHR software.
