Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting systems
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and sterilization protocols
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate treatment schedules and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification or RDA status
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Attention to detail in infection control and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
