Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures with all equipment provided
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take dental X-rays and digital impressions
- Manage patient records using advanced practice management software
- Provide chairside support during complex restorative procedures
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (DEXIS, Sirona)
- CPR certification (BLS)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
