Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage patient scheduling and front desk operations
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Ensure strict OSHA and infection control compliance
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental imaging software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
