Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs using digital imaging systems
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform chairside duties including suctioning, instrument transfer, and material mixing
- Manage digital patient records and assist with treatment planning coordination
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for clinical operations
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS/Sirona) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable transportation
