Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform chair-side duties such as instrument transfer, suction management, and four-handed dentistry
- Capture high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral images using modern equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance for clinical areas
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate dental records using our advanced practice management software
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid North Carolina dental radiography license
