Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during dental procedures, including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take digital dental impressions and process X-rays using advanced imaging systems
- Manage patient records and scheduling through our cloud-based practice management software
- Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment rooms in compliance with OSHA standards
- Assist with treatment planning coordination and insurance claim processing remotely
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care coordination
- Train on new dental technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or x-ray license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently on administrative tasks remotely
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Experience with digital imaging and CAD/CAM systems preferred
