Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize patient care
- Utilize EHR systems to document clinical findings and treatment plans
- Provide clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations
- Monitor vital signs and recognize deteriorating patient conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for emergency care
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Epic or similar EHR systems
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with telehealth triage platforms a plus
